SureSmile® Clear Aligner System
We proudly offer SureSmile® treatment at our Downtown Houston practice because we believe that it is a wonderfully effective method for improving the alignment of teeth. SureSmile® is designed to be more user-friendly, more comfortable, less conspicuous, and faster acting than traditional braces, and it has become one of our most popular treatment options because of the many benefits that it offers. If you need braces but are hesitant to undergo the treatment process associated with traditional metal braces, SureSmile® may be for you. In addition, SureSmile® has been shown to have less refinements and faster treatment times when compared to other clear aligner systems.

The SureSmile® system is very popular with our Houston patients, and for good reason. - Customization – If you are a good candidate for the SureSmile system, we will take digital impressions of your teeth so that your aligners can be specifically crafted for your jaw. This specificity allows for an accelerated treatment plan and makes SureSmile® aligners more comfortable than traditional metal braces.
- Removability – Unlike traditional metal braces, SureSmile® aligners can be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, flossing, and special occasions. For many of our patients, this is their single favorite feature of SureSmile®, as it allows them to modify their treatment to suit their lifestyle.
- Transparency – SureSmile® is made from transparent plastic and is crafted to fit directly over your teeth. The customized shape of the SureSmile® system combined with its transparency makes it more esthetic, which means you can smile with confidence. If you are hesitant to wear metal braces because they make you self-conscious, SureSmile® may be for you.
- Effectiveness – Because each SureSmile® aligner is specifically tailored for your teeth (every two weeks, you will replace with a new aligner that is altered slightly to continue the straightening process), it can provide more precise results in a shorter amount of time than traditional braces.
